This artwork was created in memory of someone who was deeply loved.

It was very special to do this, especially because it was for a man who meant so much to, among others, the village where he grew up.

The process started with sketching different concepts. Together with the family we discussed the ideas and decided which size would fit best in the living room.

The presentation of the artwork was a special moment. It moved me to see that the artwork touched not only the family but also the members of CV de Foekepotters, who gifted the artwork.
