I'm still reminiscing! What a special day the "Kleuren van Grathem" exhibition was! After months of hard work on this project, it was amazing to see how well the exhibition was received.

For me, it was important that the exhibition became a complete experience. That’s why I combined my collection of artworks, inspired by Grathem, with:

🎥 A film about Grathem and the story behind the artworks
📦 A diorama filled with the colors and sounds of Grathem
🎨 A large artwork for which the villagers determined my color palette
🎄 The "Colors of Grathem" Christmas ornaments, each containing a unique fragment of the large artwork, created in collaboration with VanBrewer
🖼️ Luxury Fine Art Prints of the artwork "Kleuren van Grathem"
🎶 Live music from the DJ
🍴 Delicious snacks and drinks
🖍️ Color pages for the little artists

Wat mij enorm raakte, was hoe de expositie mensen van alle leeftijden samenbracht. Kinderen kleurden vol enthousiasme aan de tafel, een jong meisje dat aan mij vroeg of ze in haar klas over het kunstwerk “Kleuren van Grathem” mocht vertellen, en bezoekers die aangaven door de film en mijn verhaal achter de werken geraakt te zijn. Als kers op de taart is een groot deel van mijn collectie verkocht, iets waar ik enorm dankbaar voor ben.
